Dr. Subrata Kumar Bose is a veteran Ophthalmologist based in Kolkata. He is the founder-cum-doctor of Nayan Jyoti Eye Care Centre on Dum Dum Road and its surgical branch centre, located nearby on Meghnad Saha Road.

 

An ex-army officer, Dr. Bose completed his MBBS from Calcutta University and his MS in Ophthalmology from AFMC, Pune. He has had advanced training in contact lenses from the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad; in squint from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; and, in phaco from ICARE Eye Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Noida.

 

With over twenty years of rich experience in the field of Ophthalmology, Dr. Subrata Kumar Bose's areas of specialisation include phaco surgery, oculoplasty, squint eye and glaucoma. He is very familiar with procedures dealing with glaucoma and oculoplasty and is available to handle ophthalmic emergencies 24x7.
